Traditional Karate is based on “sun-dome” which controlled attacks against the opponent. On the other hand, full-contact Karate literally adopts a direct striking system of kumite.
Competition games are played according to each own rules, so we can not say which is stronger.
Japan Karate Association, to which JKA Asuwa belongs, is the only Karate organization recognized by Japanese government (Cabinet Office) and is committed to the promotion and development of Karate-do. JKA Asuwa is unique in that it not only trains to win competition games, but also incorporates practical “self-defence” techniques into its training. It is very few in Fukui.
Yes you can. We participate in many competition games representing Fukui prefecture at national tournaments every year. Some of our students have won world championship or Japan championship.
Karate is one of martial arts. But please assured that our instructors take the utmost care in teaching it.
There is nothing to worry about. Karate is a martial art, so we will train your mind too. The stronger you become in Karate, the more kindly you will be able to treat others.

Yes, you can.
Yes, you can. Some parents leave their child at the dojo and return home, but we ask that you pick up your child after practice.
Admission fee is 5,000 yen / person and monthly fee is 4,000 yen / person. If three or more family members join, the third member will be admitted free of charge.
You may purchase a karate uniform and belt through us. Or, you may get them from a senior dojo student.
